February Impact Update: Rising to the Challenge
Despite the ongoing fuel shortages and security challenges across Haiti, ORDEPROGRESIA successfully completed its largest food distribution of the year this February.
Operational Highlights
- Food Aid: 3,250 families in the Gonaïves region received emergency dry-food packages (rice, beans, oil, and flour).
- Mobile Clinics: Our medical team deployed 4 times this month, treating 480 patients in rural Artibonite.
- Education: All 210 orphans in our village Lumière programme successfully completed their mid-term assessments.
- Clean Water: Completed maintenance on 8 existing community wells to ensure flow during the dry season.
Our team remains safe and operational. While Port-au-Prince is paralyzed, our deep roots in Gonaïves allow us to continue moving supplies and reaching the most vulnerable families on the periphery of the city.
"The need is growing every day, but so is our resolve. The smiles on the faces of the families receiving food this month are what keep our team going," says founder Wisly Noel.
Keep the Impact Going
